Meet Marci

MarciOriginally a graphic design major from Little Rock, Arkansas, Marci found her true calling for real estate after leaving her job in an art studio. Moving to Colorado in 2012 also prompted the shift in her career path. After starting behind a Keller Williams reception desk, Marci eventually moved up the ladder and did finances for the company’s Castle Rock office. During this period of time, she meet many interesting agents, but Scott Futa was able to provide her with the tools and experience she needed to become a part of a real estate team. Now, Marci is the Buyer’s Agent for the Scott Futa Home Team. She works with clients to help them find and purchase the perfect property that meets their criteria. However, Marci believes her biggest value to the company (and to her clientele) is handling the negotiation process. Because she is tech-savvy, she uses her familiarity with modern technology and social media to relate to buyers. Being a member of the Scott Futa Home Team has not only provided her with a flexible work schedule, but it gives her the opportunity to meet interesting people with unique backgrounds and visit a variety of properties.

Outside of work, Marci enjoys visiting local farmer’s markets and restaurants and spending time with her husband, her daughter, and her yellow lab and gray hound mix.  She considers herself to be a “foodie”. Though she loves having mac and cheese, chocolate, and wine at home, she has a passion for tasting unique gourmet foods. Marci’s favorite sweet treat is a raspberry croissant from Dream Pastries in downtown Castle Rock. As far as savory dishes go, she adores the fig bruschetta from Via Baci Italian Bistro in Lone Tree.  This food-lover also enjoys curling up and reading a good book on a rainy day. One of her favorite business books is Never Eat Alone by Keith Ferrazzi, and she also loves fictional literature, like My Sister’s Keeper by Jodi Picoult.

Marci has had made her mark as an asset to the Scott Futa Home Team. Since entering the real estate field in 2013, been able to find the perfect work environment which caters to her talents and also provides her with the flexibility to enjoy the time she spends outside of the office: reading, eating, and being with her family.
